It’s that ‘season’ again. The ‘season’ relationships are tested. When u actually get to know how very single you are. Well, I’ve heard a lotta BS since the 1st of February, and I know singles like me *wink* are gonna need help covering their arses that day, so, here are a few tips.
If U know U are old enough to be married but U are still so picky, *sigh*, all you gotta do, especially if you are a lady and U have nosy neighbors, is to wake real early, have a nice bath, and while doing this, please DON’T forget to sing out loud in the shower (love songs only, please) , wear a really nice outfit and leave the house. Errm, where to go? That’s the best part. I’m still thinking about it.
Dear broke boyfriends, no disrespect, but if we know U are broke and U don’t trust our sense of understanding, now is the time to tell us you got a job offer and U need to start preparing for the interview because U might be called upon at any time next week or two weeks from now, for the interview. Even the dumbest arse nigga knows when that ‘interview’ would be. Right? *thumbs up*.
We really don’t have to worry about our broke boyfriends still in school, do we? It’s a new session and praise Jah for schoolfees *wide grin* (UI folks). For other schools, never mind if it’s not a new session. It would definitely look like one. Now we all have a reason to thank ASUU now.
By the way, *light bulb*, it just occurred to me where the picky ‘old’ single ladies can go. I heard Cotonou from lagos by bus could take a whole day. Errm.. U knw what I’m thinkin huhn? Try that, and when U get back with a big ’empty’ bag and a tired look, around, say 10:30p.m, courtesy traffic, your neighbors would just think….. Problem solved. Thank me later.
Seriously though, happy celebration of love in advance *rme*. My advice is, buy a pack of handkerchiefs, a shock-absorber and protections of different kinds. U’ll need ’em. Errm, you know that point where U are asked to write an essay in a 2hr paper and U have your story all figured out, only to get stuck at the middle, when it’s 30mins to the end? I’m there now, so I’ll just stop rambling already. 😀 ;). Remember to thank me later. Safe.
